A Favorite Place...

Edisto Beach, SC

Of all the coastal trips I've taken so far, Edisto Island has to be one of my all-time favorites. The atmosphere is so soothing and I am never disappointed. We like to camp at the state park campground there on the island. On our most recent trip, we saw dolphins feeding right off the surf and it makes me want to return to try and capture them on camera. The campground there is right behind the dunes and I usually walk several miles combing the shore with my camera when we go. I have fond memories of camping there with my aunts and uncles in the 80's and I think I could visit several times a year and never tire of the place.
